PUBLIC LIBRARY

It was established on September 23, 1845 under the name "Serbian Reading Room of Novi Sad". This beautiful little building, very central European, is a place open all day, where many events take place in the early evening. With a collection of 370 000 books and 2 departments (children and adults), the municipal library is also one of the oldest houses in the city. Very friendly reception and an important source of information on cultural events in the city. Literary and musical evenings are quite frequent.
