The large TV antenna tower Avala built in 1964 by Uglješa Bogunović and Slobodan Janjić has once again become the symbol of Belgrade since its renovation. Destroyed during the NATO bombing in 1999, it decorates the Serbian capital again since April 2010.

Its architecture is symbolic: its cross section symbolizes the Serbian tripod. Don't panic, it is very easy to access: two elevators propel visitors to the top in less than a minute.
