Mount Avala, at 511 m above sea level, is both a place of remembrance - the last refuge of the army from the Austro-Hungarians during the First World War - and an imposing massif that dominates the city and controls the access to Choumadie. It is located 16 km southeast of Belgrade, a 20-minute drive from the city, where you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of Central Serbia and walk in a park of several hectares. Since the 19th century, this park has also been a nature reserve, a place for picnics and walks in the forest
