This amazing museum of African art in the Balkans is located in the Senjak district of Belgrade. It consists of the private collection that Yugoslav diplomats Zdravko Pečar and Veda Zagorac bequeathed to the City of Belgrade in 1974 and is particularly rich in pieces from West Africa. The permanent exhibition has over 1,800 pieces, most of which are from West Africa. There is a beautiful and important collection of masks, everyday objects, works of art and beautiful woven fabrics.
