ÎLE D'ADA CIGANLIJA (АДА ЦИГАНЛИЈА)

4 km from the city center, on an artificial peninsula situated on the Save, has been developed a complex of relaxation and sport. Several beaches welcome the estivants. A true oasis of greenery and freshness in a sometimes suffocating city in summer, Ada Ciganlija traditionally offers swimming, football games and chess games. Since the island's elongation in 2002, there has also been golf, paint-ball, aqua-soccer, turf hockey, rugby, which does not prevent Ada Ciganlija from remaining the ideal place for family picnics and bathing, which are monitored. In the face of its success, the lake has structured its activities. You can practice it:

Bicycle. Thanks to numerous cycling paths, you can walk around the island and beyond by rented atvs from 250 RSD the hour or 500 RSD the day.

Add of course beaches, gravel, one at the end for nudists, bars and restaurants, a small train that runs around the lake, pedal rentals, a water slide, short, a unique resort in a capital. So, some days of heavy heat, there are many people, up to 300,000 people. But there is room, the lake is 4.2 km long and the whole area 800 hectares.

It is also a little farther from Ada Safari, a much more wild lake for fishing and contemplation of nature.

To go, bus 51 and 511 from the station or 23 and 37 from Knez Miloša Avenue. By car, follow the signs "Sajam/Fair" from the center, or always straight from the station by leaving it on the left. The parking lot is 200 RSD for all day.
