The Serbs give presents to their families, but at 11pm everyone goes out into the city to celebrate the arrival of the new year!

The Serbs give presents to each other and meet with family and friends, but from 11pm onwards, the urge to party takes over and everyone goes out into the city to celebrate the arrival of the new year! The party is particularly crazy in Belgrade and the ultimate is to take a party boat on the Sava river. The next day, January^1st, Svetogorska street is transformed into an open heart street, with activities for children, stands, music and a big costume parade.
