ROŠTILJ DORĆOLAC

Unless you are a vegetarian, visiting Serbia without tasting its famous traditional "burger", thepljeskavica, would be a real lapse in taste. This tiny local "boui-boui" doesn't look like much, but it has been one of the absolute favorite spots for locals for many years! Here the meat is particularly tender and cooked wonderfully over a wood fire.

If you stay a few days, don't hesitate to come back to taste other delights based on junetina na žaru (beef), piletina na žaru (chicken) and svinsko žaru (pig).
