Located on the fourth floor, Mama Shelter's restaurant offers simple and tasty local cuisine. You can also enjoy delicious pizzas made on site in the wood-fired oven (we strongly advise you to go easy on the salt). The 500^m2 terrace offers an exceptional view of the city. For the amateurs, there is also an outdoor bar, a giant table soccer and a ping-pong table. Not to be missed, whether for dinner, a snack or just a drink!

A place that shines by its originality. The restaurant is indeed partly installed in an old Yugoslavian train wagon dating from 1998. Hence its affectionate nickname. It is in reality much larger, with a building in hard, adjacent. The whole place is perched on the hill of Gardoš, so you'll enjoy a nice view of the Danube as well as a bit of quietness, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The menu, as in many restaurants, is extensive and consists of meat and Italian dishes. The hearty breakfast is served until 1pm.

Gaston offers French-inspired dishes with a certain success. For example, the duck in the Nice Nice, with olive oil as it should be, is fine. In salads, the "tricolore" is to be recommended. We don't want Gaston to take some liberties with French recipes, because it's just good and above all not expensive.

The oldest kafana in Belgrade and one of the oldest houses in the capital. The architecture is indeed typical of the Balkans of the early 19th century. Built in 1823, the house was erected with the consent of Prince Miloš Obrenović for Mr. Naum Icko, son of a hero of the First Serbian Uprising against the Turks. In 1892, the inn was renamed "At the Cathedral" because of its location next to St. Michael's Cathedral. On the kitchen side, you will find authentic Serbian cuisine on the menu.

We have come here since 2001. Open noon and evening to eat but also for the lounge bar. The shaded terrace is open from April to October. Do not miss chicken to shrimps and mushrooms. Excellent 250-dinars homemade glass of wine from a small producer in Bačina. Credit cards accepted.

Among the many Chinese restaurants in Belgrade, the 888 is to recommend. The hotel was very close to the beach and the city centre. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. All the well-known dishes are good and, above all, they can be arranged according to their tastes. It is a bit expensive, easily up to 2 500 dinars for two, but the buffet «888» is perfect and costs 888 dinars.

Just steps from Kalemegdan, this restaurant is a mixture of Japanese and Korean cuisine. The menu at only 600 dinars will be a nice entry with its soups, sushi and saba, a grilled fish, a good surprise. Add a long, inevitably exotic card and patient advice to the service, and the whole will have enchanted you.

The Verdi has only one defect, lying at the end of a passage against a commercial concrete zone. For the rest, we are in the high-end universe, both kitchen and service, full of attention. Salads are fine and varied, rare lasagna and originales à. The note is of course felt.

The oldest Chinese restaurant in the city, long only, opened in 1980. A large room in Chinese ambience, of course, and a kitchen as it is found in France. Here, it is resolutely higher in quality and prices are felt. Moreover, it is always Mao Gui Jiang, Mao's former cook, who is involved.

A Belgrade must-see, whose reputation is well established since its opening in 1937. Today, it is a meeting place for Belgraders of all social classes. It has a splendid terrace in the middle of the Tašmajdan park, an elegant interior and serves traditional Serbian cuisine, refined, of international inspiration with many seafood products. The service is top notch, from the checkroom to the dining room. The wine cellar is probably the most extensive of all the restaurants in the capital.

A true French restaurant in the heart of trendy Belgrade.

In a strange decor reminiscent of the period of Balzac, the kitchen tries the original of the haute kitchen with, for example, marinade shark steak, it is an experience that is worth displacement.

But the classic is also there with a huge meat card. On arrival, the Balzac is a truly good, high-quality surprise, with a value for money ratio. And if the note is a little salty, the Balzac offers the possibility of drinking glass around the whole wine list. What a lot of stuff without getting ruined.
