The travel agencies in Buenos Aires often cite Lobos, located 100 km from the capital, as an original and interesting exit. Nothing spectacular, but much to offer a pleasant day in the typical countryside of the province. Lobos is immersed in a fertile region and many dairy producers work in its surroundings. The Lobos Foundation dates back to June 1802 and now has more than 33,000 inhabitants. As is often the case, the church is the most interesting architectural complex in the city, with Nuestra Señora del Carmen. It dates back to 1906. There is the remains of José Salgado, the founder of the city.In the past few years, many water sports have been developed on its 800 hectare lagoon, located 15 km from the city center. It is also the only place in Buenos Aires province where parachute jumps can be realized from its aerodrome. To see also the birthplace of Juan Domingo Perón, the former Argentine president, who has now become a museum.
