Around ten kilometers from Patan, the road stops at the foot of Mount Pulchoki, the highest mountain in the Kathmandu Valley, at an altitude of 2,759 metres. Its slopes are carved by marble quarries. A rare phenomenon in the valley, the mountain's surroundings are still covered in forest. Don't miss the Botanical Garden, which includes a medicinal plant department and a fish farm.
