If you don't have enough time to explore the river over several days, you can appreciate some aspects in just one day or a few hours. The activities offered by ADNG (Association pour la découverte de la nature en Guyane) are aimed at children, but most are also suitable for adults. Although the Vent d'Ouest sailing school works mainly with extracurricular groups, it also offers private and group lessons (for special events, for works councils for example) to children and adults alike, whatever their level, whether beginner or advanced. All outings and courses are supervised by a state-qualified instructor, and the structure is certified by the French Federation, affiliated to the DDJS.

The club, located in the village of Balaté, right next to the famous La Goélette restaurant, is run by a team of sports enthusiasts as friendly as they are passionate, and offers introductory courses, white-water outings (passing jumps) and discovery outings around Saint-Laurent. All our guides are fully qualified, and all equipment is provided for excursions. Canoe-kayak rental available. Please enquire on site.
