Populated by 3,000 souls, this town marks the southern edge of the Haouz plain and boasts a royal gendarmerie. On Tuesday, the day of the souk, beautiful pottery and olive oil pressed in the region are sold. In terms of architecture, there is not much to report other than the zaouia, forbidden to non-Muslims, the ruins of a small kasbah and a mellah. This is the beginning of a bad rocky track that leads to the walnut forests on the other side of the Haouz. Another track, just as bad, allows us to get back to the Tizi n'Test road via Aouzzer and Asni: do not risk it unless you are in a 4x4 and have a full tank of gas.
