AMTRAK STATION

Only one line serves Dallas, the Texas Eagle line. It connects Chicago to Los Angeles and provides inland connections from Dallas to Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio and El Paso. Trains also stop in other Texas cities. To Fort Worth (1 hour 35 minutes), McGregor (4 hours 10 minutes), Austin (6 hours 40 minutes) and San Antonio (10 hours 05 minutes), trains depart daily from Dallas. To go further west, you have to take the same trains - but you will have to change at San Antonio station, after a 7 hours wait.
