The oldest cathedral containing the remains of the heroes of the Battle of the Alamo, a historic monument in San Antonio.
The construction of the cathedral began in the 1730s, as soon as the Spanish settlers arrived. It is therefore a historic monument, not only for San Antonio but for the entire United States. Completed in 1750, it is the oldest cathedral in the United States. A must-see attraction: it contains the remains of the heroes of the Battle of the Alamo. San Antonio The Saga takes place from Tuesday to Sunday evenings, and consists of videos projected on the majestic facade of the cathedral. The video lasts a total of 24 minutes.

A l'entrée de la cathédrale se trouve le cénothaphe et une plaque adressée aux martyrs de San Alamo. Parmi eux figure le nom de Davy Crockett .. C'est la cathédrale la plus ancienne des USA. .
