This district/market is home to the Alameda museum, several restaurants, as well as a gigantic market spread out in the street and in the adjacent buildings. Here, Mexicanness is exposed in the form of more or less artisanal products, sold by hundreds: jewels, potteries, paintings, sculptures, carpets, clothes... Ultra touristic certainly, but to be seen for the typical folklore of San Antonio. Unfortunately, this historical market has been converted into a modern space and has lost its charm.
