The 36 th President of the United States, the Democrat Lyndon Johnson, comes from the region: he was born and died in Stonewall and lived much of his life in Johnson City. This local pride resulted in a national park, which covers two sites. The first is located in the city of Johnson City. In particular, you can see the president's children's home with a guided tour that leaves every half hour at 9 pm.

At Stonewall, 14 miles from there going to Mcsherrystown, the second part of the park, the LBJ Ranch, where the presidential couple lived.

BENSON FARM RANCH

Animal park and farm

With close to 1 000 ha, the Benson Farm Ranch is known in the corner as the hunter's ranch. Residents accompany who wishes, rifle to shoulder, to uncover deer and other more exotic animals in the wild. The ranch employees are also very knowledgeable about fishing and multiply excursions to nearby rivers. There is a possibility to sleep in the rooms not really charming.
