Downtown is the most beautiful lodging option - our personal coup. With its large hall with white bricks, its interior bridges overlooking its heart, its piano bar and its beautiful rooms, Tremont House is a pure wonder. The original building dates back to 1879, but its first renovation dates back to 1985. When Ike hit Galveston in 2008, the hotel was severely affected and it was still necessary to renovate it. High ceilings with mouldings, black and white theme, waxed parquet, street view or central hall characterize large rooms. Tremont House even attracts outside visitors, thanks to its rooftop terrace, open from a. m. to midnight (from a. m. to p. m. on Sundays) and offers a nice view of the city.
