About twenty kilometers north of Libreville, we go to Cap Estérias for its beaches and its somewhat wild side. The town marks the entrance to the Komo estuary, near the Mondah forest. No electricity, no running water, all the inhabitants have generators to run refrigerators and fans. As soon as you see houses, there are accesses to the beach that runs along the coast to the Mondah Bay. At the end of the road or by passing the beach, it is possible to access another beach and continue on foot north to Mondah Bay, in the Akanda National Park.
