This large village built on the slopes of a hill dominated by the Tolimán and Atitlán volcanoes is probably one of the most authentic on the lake. It is home to a more local population, in which the women stand out, dressed in white cotton huipils adorned with geometric motifs, with small multicolored birds embroidered at the waist. A ribbon called a "tocoyal ", some twenty meters long, is wound around their heads.
