To get to Playa Duaba, you will have to take the road to Moa and drive about 6 km northwest from Baracoa. Although swimming is allowed, it is not recommended. It is better to go to the next beach, which is much more pleasant. A little historical reminder: it is here, on Playa Duaba, that the independence general Antonio Maceo (the famous bronze titan) landed in 1895, just ten days after the landing of José Martí and Maximo Gómez on the beach of Cajobabo (south coast). However, aesthetically, there is nothing exceptional about these beach edges. Restful stop.
