Travel Guide El Yunque

On the way to Moa, 6 km northwest of Baracoa, turn left to the campismo del Yunque. This anvil-shaped mountain dominates the western part of Baracoa and has many surprises in store. You have two options. In the direction of the river, you will opt for a 1h30 walk towards the waterfall (8 € the entrance of the park, obligatory guide, 5 km round trip). The other option is a more sportive hike (10 km round trip with an ascent to the top of the mountain), which will also require the presence of a guide at the campismo (13 € per person). It takes 3 hours to go and 2 hours to return.
