PHNOM BARANG

A little east of Phnom Angkaol, very close, is its little brother, the "French Hill", so named because there was a French military post there until the 1940s, in charge of preventing Khmer Issarak infiltrations from Vietnam. Several hotel projects were to be built in this dream location, not far from the white sand beaches. At one point, all real estate projects were at a standstill in the area, but they seem to have resumed. We don't really know what will happen to the area...
