With the disappearance of the Khmer Rouge, the proximity of Thailand and that of the small border post of Ahnsai have done a lot for the prosperity of this small village which contributes greatly to the enrichment of the Cambodian car fleet with right-hand drive vehicles! The village is also, with the village of Sra Aem, one of the access points for the temple of Preah Vihear, 80 km away. However, Sra Aem is much closer (only 25 km) and remains the privileged gateway to the temple, especially since comfortable accommodations have recently opened there, as well as quite decent restaurants.
