5/5
1 review

Siem Reap is a town in Cambodia, famous for the Angkor archaeological site. However, the town also offers other tourist attractions, such as the Kulen Elephant Forest. This animal park and farm offers visitors the chance to discover elephants in their natural habitat. The sanctuary's facilities have been designed with the environment in mind, including the reuse of recycled wood and furniture from the hotel industry. The elephants enjoy a natural bath all year round, and can take advantage of the clay-rich mud banks to care for their skin. Visitors can choose between different experiences, such as a morning with the elephants or an afternoon session. Meals served are vegetarian, but unfortunately vegan options are not currently available. It is recommended to bring sports shoes, sunglasses, a hat, sun cream, mosquito spray and clothes that can get dirty. Cancellation policies are as follows: 75% refund for cancellations more than 48 hours in advance, 50% for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance and no refund for cancellations less than 24 hours in advance. Tour times are subject to change depending on weather conditions and the needs of the elephants. Visitors must arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour and any delay will not be refunded. The park also offers a camping experience under the stars with the elephants, as well as volunteer opportunities.
