Founded by architect Daniel Fabre in Phnom Penh, this post office is the heart of Cambodia's mail distribution system.
Opened in 1895 under the French Protectorate, the Central Post Office was the heart of the mail distribution system in Cambodia. Designed by the architect Daniel Fabre, it is at the center of a group of colonial buildings characteristic of the Protectorate. Opposite and around the post office stand the former chamber of commerce, the former restaurant La Taverne, the former Manolis Hotel, among others... To the north of Wat Phnom lies the French residential district which is well worth a stroll.

District not to be missed, characteristic architecture, to enter the post - office to see the mail and stamps always stuck with a sponge by guests
