Museum that tells the story of the important role of African-Americans in building the city of Boston
African-Americans played an important role in the construction of the city of Boston. Throughout the th century, many intellectuals in the city fought for the abolition of slavery. To tell this story, an entity was created under the name of Museum of African American History. It has four sites, two in Boston and two in Nantucket Island, as well as two routes (trails). Guided tours are also offered.
