South of the island of Jersey, the Minquiers are an archipelago of 300 km² which also includes many reefs and reefs which have always been a problem for many sailors. It must be said that many of these islets are covered at high tide, still piercing, here and there, at the water's edge and that they are also crossed by violent currents. They have moreover constituted natural defenses against the attacks coming from the French coast. The Minquiers are barely a dozen kilometers from the (French) island of Chausey. At low tide, it is a real desert of sand bristling with rocks. A truly unusual landscape
