THE PRIAULX LIBRARY

Nestled in the bucolic Candies Gardens, The Priaulx Library is the island's main library which has been preserving valuable books, objects and documents about Guernsey and the rest of the archipelago since... 1889. Open to the public, this library is for all the locals a very pleasant place to read. And a spot that will surely be very useful on a rainy day by serving as a shelter. Books, newspapers, magazines (some of them in French) are at the disposal of the visitors. Notice to the readers and the curious!
