Sports and leisure activities Grouville

This golf course has been in existence since 1878 and is one of the most prestigious on the island. Originally, there was a stretch of sandy moorland, covered with heather and nicknamed the Common. This area was gradually fortified to counter the assaults from the sea. Then, in the 19th century, the Common became a racetrack and was finally transformed into the prestigious Royal Jersey Golf Club. Here you will get a glimpse of the island's history. If you walk along the coast, you will pass close to the golfers.

Calling all water sports enthusiasts! Here's a simple yet welcoming club offering a choice of paddle, kayak, towed buoys and bananas, water-skiing, wakeboarding, small motorboat hire... Please note that the center is only open during the high season! Life jackets are included for all activities, which are open to all ages (ideal for keeping your kids busy during a lazy session). A great way to enjoy the bay!
