The best restaurants Saint-Aubin

Fresh and cheap: these are the key words of this very small and practical establishment in the town. You can choose to sit inside (about ten seats, no more) or on the large wooden tables of the terrace overlooking the bay of Saint-Aubin to eat in the sun and have a magnificent view. On the plate, you can choose between many burgers, toasted sandwiches, ice creams made with Jersey milk, home-made cakes... We love this small unpretentious establishment

On the port of Saint-Aubin, sheltered in a courtyard or on the terrace, you will find at the Salty Dog a world cuisine, sometimes innovative and original, which blends happily with local products. You may or may not like the decor, but what counts is what is on the plate. Here are a few successful examples to give you an idea of the cuisine offered: teriyaki sauce breaded duck salad, Indian-style spicy crab fritters, mango and coriander shrimp grilled with salsa, banana pudding and Jersey Black Butter... Charming welcome.

The Boat House is a large, elegant brasserie facing the pretty port of Saint-Aubin. On the menu: traditional fish & chips, excellent homemade burgers, but also more elaborate dishes such as salmon steak with teriyaki sauce and other fresh, local fish. And even though it recently changed ownership, being taken over by a major archipelago group, you're always very welcome at the Boat House. And, last but not least, what a pleasure it is to enjoy the terrace as soon as the warm weather arrives!

Here, you can choose between the chic upstairs restaurant, which replicates the interior design of a boat, or the large pub on the first floor, with its modern decor, terrace and beautiful view of the port. Special mention for the friendly welcome, the charming patio at the back and the fish and seafood. We loved the Scottish salmon fishcake with cider-braised leeks. This is a great address, but it's a good idea to make a reservation, as it gets very busy in summer.

Opened by renowned Jersey Island restaurateurs (formerly of the Atlantic Hotel), Mark Jordan at the Beach welcomes you to a charming setting with a refined decor and light tones. A prime spot to enjoy a generous, refined menu. With an unobstructed view over Saint-Aubin Bay, you can feast on fresh local produce - with a special mention for seafood - and fusion cuisine inspired by Mediterranean and even Thai cuisine. Finally, the value for money is very good.

The Muddy Duck is a quality restaurant in Saint-Aubin. The proof? The establishment was opened by chef Chris Payton, who worked in the kitchen of the Old Court House next door for almost two decades. In a pleasant setting, set back from the small road and with a beautiful terrace, one can enjoy well prepared and revisited local products, especially fish and shellfish. With a children's menu defying all competition, this is a quality family address. The welcome is also very pleasant.

This new Saint-Aubin address (opening in 2022) offers excellent typical Italian cuisine and natural wines. Managed by Jersiaise Kate and chef Marcello, who hails from Modena on the Italian boot, this restaurant showcases fresh, organic produce and local fishing, favoring short circuits and an ethical approach to the trade when designing its menu. In short, an excellent address where you can enjoy a delicious meal in a warm atmosphere, thanks in particular to a decor where wood reigns supreme. We love it!
