It is a small village, once very rural and bordered by a salt pond, which has changed a lot! The cove is better known as the industrial zone and provides vital functions for the island of Saint-Barth: power plant, water production, diesel storage, and of course the commercial port! Its very family-friendly beach retains a certain charm and remains unknown to tourists. The Israeli restaurant Sella is the only one in the area and offers a panoramic view of the bay. The sailing school offers boats for rent. It is also a cultural spot with the Domaine Félicité which retraces the history of the Public district and the life of yesteryear.
