The reference to immerse oneself in the teeming Russian contemporary art scene, from the 1960s to the present day
The museum opened its doors in 2010. It presents some 2,300 works by Russian artists of the second half of the 20th and 21st centuries (paintings, drawings, sculptures, objects, installations). Frequent temporary exhibitions showcase the work of contemporary artists from across the country and current trends. Erarta is in this respect one of the few SPB museums that not only offers recognition to current artists but also creates its own artistic projects.

Très agréable endroit et belles collections permanentes et temporaires.
Les jeunes russes branchés envahissent le lieu le soir, pour ... parader avec leur dernière acquisition vestimentaire ...
Prendre un bus pour y aller, le quartier où le musée est installé, n'a aucun intérêt (autour du musée, je ne parle pas de la pointe est, avec les colonnes rostrales et l'Université).
Le restaurant éponyme propose une très bonne cuisine nouvelle, et constitue une halte très agréable.
