The restaurant Russkaya Ryumochnaya N°1 is located in the museum of Vodka. This very good Russian cuisine restaurant offers a very fine local cuisine. As a starter, homemade rillettes (kholodets, RUB 430) are really delicious, and go very well with vodka. We can indeed taste vodkas seen during the visit of the museum. The blinis with red caviar are also excellent (RUB 390). If the cuisine is fine, the portions are not necessarily copious. You can take a museum starter that gives you the right to a tasting menu in the restaurant. If the place attracts tourists, the nice decoration of the restaurant in 19th century style makes also many Saint-Pétersbourg's couple to come here. On weekends, it is essential to book in the evening.
