The uninhabited island of Mousa lies exactly on the 60th parallel, less than 1 km east of the Sandwick coast, in the southern Mainland, and covers 180 ha. It can be visited daily from early April to late September by taking the boat from Leebitton (Sandwick) for a 15-minute trip (£18/adult and £8/child). Departures are at 11:30 am and return at 2:30 pm. There is no crossing on Saturday. They depend of course on the weather conditions. The tour starts in the Sandsayre Interpretation Center, which invites you to discover life on the island in the past, and then visits Mousa Broch.Payment in cash only.
