Less frequented than Pitlochry, Aberfeldy is surrounded by a soft, green and wooded nature, close to Loch Tay, Tay Forest Park and near Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. It is particularly known for Dewar's Distillery. It was also made famous by the national poet Robert Burns with his workThe Birks of Aberfeldy. This is a very charming walking trail that loops through the woods to the beautiful Moness Falls. Also on the agenda for your ideal visit to Aberfeldy are encounters with the famous Fortingall yew tree (over 2,000 years old!), rafting and canyoning.
