On the shores of beautiful Loch Duich and close to the road to Kyle of Lochalsh and Skye, this Hostelling Scotland hostel is housed in a beautiful stone house with its feet in the water. Its location is exceptional and one can choose between dormitories and private rooms. It is good to linger in the common areas, especially the very cosy living room, but there is also a fully equipped kitchen and dining room. For your evening meals on the premises, you can also take advantage of our 2 or 3-course reheatable meal trays, available at a low price.

This friendly bed and breakfast is located at Allt na Chruinn in Glenshiel, just before the A87 bridge over Loch Duich. The house is rather modern on the outside, but the interior is beautifully decorated in a traditional and cosy style. The three double bedrooms have their own bathrooms and are well appointed. Some of them overlook the loch, as does the living room. It is also possible to rent a cottage with two bedrooms.

Conchra House is a beautiful cosy house leaning against the hill and perfectly situated for the view of the loch and the mountains. It is close to Dornie, not Kyle of Lochalsh itself (count 16 km), just outside the village of Plockton. A traditional 18th century house, it offers the luxury of a Scottish country house. It will make an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area (why not Skye?), hiking or discovering the surrounding heritage. The rooms are all comfortable, each with its own bathroom.
