Brodick is the largest village on Arran and its main gateway. Facing its bay and at the foot of Goat Fell, the highest mountain on the island, it is a pleasant place to stay, with good hotels, some good restaurants and opportunities for sightseeing and walking. Most amenities are located here, with shops dotted along the main road. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, and golf are probably the best options for exploring Brodick and its surroundings.
