This piece of granite thrown off the coast of Scotland stands proudly at the entrance of the Firth of Clyde. It bears the name, in Scottish, of Creag Ealasaid, or Elizabeth's Rock. With a surface area of 99 hectares, its summit reaches 338 m and results from the volcanic nature of the region. Its strange shape can be seen from the coast and its high cliffs are the natural habitat of the third largest colony of gannets in Britain. The area is logically protected by the RSPB and, if nobody lives here, some cruises are possible, notably on board the MFV Glorious of Ailsa Craig Trips. The places are wild.
