Located in a beautiful West End building, the Rutland Hotel is an ideal base for musarder in the beautiful shopping areas of the district and New town. It is also close to the charming Dean Village and Princes Street gardens. The rooms are decorated in a trendy and glamorous style: comfortable benches, tapestries and dessus with floral motifs, mirrors and chandeliers bringing their baroque touch to the whole. A mix of styles that are cleverly balanced and resolutely contemporary.

What an amazing stay! The flat is so spacious (about 70m2) but cozy at the same time, and on top of that there is a fireplace in the living room.
The location is great, in front of the castle and 10min walk from the historical center. There are a lot of restaurants close by and bus/tram stations.

Second stay here which speaks for itself. Cannot fault the apartment or the staff.

Lovely short stay. Lift was out of order but that was fine for us. Staff are so friendly! Great location right in the centre near the Christmas market, gallery etc.

I booked a surprise trip for my boyfriend's birthday and didn't know which hotel to pick as it was our first time in Edinburgh in a while, and I am so grateful that I picked the Rutland as it was better than I could have imagined! I rang the hotel to ask if there was anything they could do to make the birthday trip more special, and the hotel certainly delivered by upgrading us to an apartment, which was beautifully decorated, comfortable and all around amazing. The hotel catered to our every need, let us leave our bags at the reception until our room was ready and until we were ready to leave in the afternoon as check out was 11am. The location was central and only a 10 minute walk from the Christmas Markets and was essentially on Princes Street so shopping was close. Everything was perfect and exceeded expectations, and my boyfriend had the best birthday ever thanks to the Rutland.
