This small commune (3 000!), the first one we encounter when you come out of Vitoria, surprise by its somewhat too large bell, nicknamed La Moza de la Llanada (the beautiful plain), and the hermitage of Our Lady of Ayala, which has been the stop of many pilgrims since the th century. The city keeps traces of its medieval past with its configuration centred around two central streets parallel to the river Alegria and which bears the names of Calle Mayor and Calle de la Fortaleza respectively.
