Palace of plateresque style with a beautiful patio with civil architecture of Renaissance style
This 16th century palace houses a very pretty patio with fine columns, in Plateresque style, decorated with coats of arms. It is an example of Renaissance civil architecture, bordered by sections of 12th century ramparts. It was built by the doctor of King Henry VIII of England, Fernán López de Escoriaza and his wife Victoria de Anda y Esquivel. The ornamental wealth of the palace makes it a perfect example of Renaissance civil architecture.
