Located at the end of Bizkaia, Karrantza is a small town of 2,700 souls. To get there, you will have to cross Villaverde de Trucios, a small Cantabrian enclave in the Biscayan lands. You then enter the Karrantza valley, with its beautiful landscapes punctuated by megalithic monuments and caves, including the Pozalagua cave where stalagmites and stalactites follow one another. Several other beautiful walks and visits are to be expected in the surroundings, where nature is perfectly preserved. In the village itself, the church of San Andrés de Biañez, which houses a beautiful altarpiece, and the baroque-neoclassical church of San Bartolomé de Aldeacueva
