Munguía is a charming city that owes its cachet to its historic centre, rich in architectural treasures. Don't miss the Town Hall - a beautiful building with Baroque and Gothic elements -, the Gothic Church of San Pedro, the old Torrebillela tower house - of medieval origin, it has been rebuilt many times and now houses the House of Culture - and also the Fuente de la Concordia (Fountain of Concord), the most emblematic monument in the municipality, it symbolises concord, agreement and dialogue. The 12th-century San Miguel de Zuméchaga hermitage is also worth a visit on the outskirts of Munguía.
