A beautiful building in Gothic style is distinguished by a set of sculptures representing a medieval court
This beautiful late Gothic building dominates the mouth of the Artibai River. Built around 1480, then rebuilt in the 18th and 19th centuries, the Church of Saint Mary is distinguished by a group of sculptures representing a medieval court, known under the Basque name of "Kortxeleko mamuak". There are mythical figures, among them that of Leokadi, whose legend says that this woman turned into stone protected the inhabitants of Ondarroa.

Eglise suspendue
Cette curieuse église domine Ondarroa, petit port de pêche qui a la particularité d'être "construit" davantage sur la rivière que face à la mer.
