Elizondo is the capital of the Baztán Valley. Its city center is built around two streets that group together heraldic houses and palaces. The most notable are the Palacio de Arizkunenea, which houses the House of Culture, and the Town Hall, a baroque building from the 18th century. The Casa Puriosenea houses the ethnographic museum of Jorge Oteiza, the famous Basque sculptor. If you have the opportunity to coincide your visit with the Baztandarren Biltzarra festival, which takes place at the end of July, you will have the chance to attend a joyful gathering that gathers around a huge popular meal in the streets of the city
