Travel Guide Port Baïkal (Байка́л Порт)

Rural town located on the left bank of the Angara River, 60 km from Irkutsk, just opposite Listvianka. The village has only 3 points of interest: a small museum dedicated to the history of the Circum-Baikal railway line, a ferry to Listvianka, operational all year round and a railway station, the terminus of Circum-Baikal. The matanya runs there twice a week to Slioudianka, with several stops (notably in Koultouk) and in both directions (information, timetables and ticket purchases at any station). Port Baikal is one of the stages of the Circum-Baikal railway tourist excursion.
