Inside St. Beuno's Church, you'll find a Norman arch, believed to have come from the palace of the Prince of Gwynedd. Then it's on to Cable Bay! In the 1900s, this was the terminus of the telegraph cable (undersea cable) to Ireland. This is a surfer's paradise, with a popular sandy beach in a sheltered cove. Then there's Church in the Sea, a magical place frequented only by birds. Tall grass, ancient moss-covered tombs, a small 12th-century church on an islet in the middle of the sea, almost abandoned but not quite, "Church in the Sea" is a poetic gem.
