This large complex has a youth hostel and a camping site in addition to the original hotel. The hostel is really nice, with a well-equipped kitchen. There are 70 beds in rooms for two, four, six, eight and ten people. On the hotel side, it's classic, nothing exceptional. The rooms are sober but clean. There is a pub with billiards and a restaurant. You can also enjoy the sauna as well as the hotel's large gardens. And if you're missing something, there's even a small shop. Dogs are allowed.

Recently renovated, the rooms call for a restful sleep after a day's walk. Beware, however, they may have a very strict policy towards smokers: those who smell like tobacco do not come in! (Cigarettes and electronic cigarettes are not allowed on site.) A minimum number of nights (usually two) can be requested, especially in winter and out of season. In the centre of the village, we are very well situated, about ten minutes walk from the Betws-y-Coed railway station. The Vagabond Bunkhouse welcomes you in a large stone house, extremely well appointed and whose reputation is growing a little more each year. There are simple but clean dormitories (bunk beds).
