Small port on the road to St. David's. Once famous for transporting and mining lime and coal, burned in circular "kilns" that can still be admired on the harbor. In summer, this small village is packed to the rafters with quality art galleries, many of whose works are by local artists. Visit the Solva Woollen Mill, the oldest woollen mill in Pembrokeshire, now converted into a weaving mill. See the craftsmen at work, specializing in rugs and bedspreads. And for a boat tour, we're off to see Solva Sailboats.
