A real favorite! Porthgain is a small hamlet wedged into the rocks, which was a busy port in the 19thcentury , exporting mining slate, granite and bricks. The old red brick factory overlooking the cove bears witness to this forgotten era. It's about a 15-minute drive north of St. David's. Nearby is the blue lagoon, a local must-see. The walk over the cliffs offers a sublime view of the sea, and you can wander around in complete tranquillity: not to be missed! And in autumn, it's a protected area for baby seals. The area is also perfect for coasteering.
